How to use this tool
Plan deck boards and edges
Draw the outline on the grid, upload a plan, or add a rectangular area. Enter each side length, then set board width, spacing and edge finish to update the live view and board schedule.
Worked example
For a 4 m by 3 m rectangle, enter 4,000 mm and 3,000 mm as the matching side lengths. Compare board direction and the perimeter treatment before checking the material estimate.
What the estimate excludes
Board counts are planning quantities. Offcuts, splices, fasteners, joists, bearers and structural design need a separate takeoff and qualified review.
